Sight for sore eyes

Roses are beginning to flower despite the overcast skies.

"See the winter is past; the rains are over and gone. Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come..." (Song of Songs 2:12)

ENJOY and overlook the rain and overcast skies. Look at the beauty of nature rather than the currenty dank and rainy weather.

Lovely, lovely roses - what happened to the summer though! It is early pm and I am sitting here in almost near dark and just a little cold:)

This is not the postcard summer I've been envisioning all winter... I still have my sweaters and space heaters, I want to crack out the sarongs and the bube tubes!!! What madness is this, I'm going nuts for not seeing the sun......ugh!

I see flowers blooming everywhere. I need to carry my camera around with me a little bit more!
I do not mind the slightly overcast weather, it allows me to show off my scarf!

I used to jog year-round, and at some point found myself really enjoying all different kinds of weather. (For some reason your picture didn't download for me...)

I like those days like that sometime, but not for too many days. Otherwise, I love the rain. It reminds me of the Marvin Gaye album cover for What's Going On. He's walking with the pensive look on his face as the mist coats his rain jacket and hair.
